What an Amazing Trip!!!

I haven't posted in a while, since I went away...to Israel for my cousins Bar Mitzvah. It was great! But then I haven't been able to post since I had to catch up on everything!
Let's see 18 family members in Isreal, we had our moments, but in the end it was great.
Izzy did a fantastic job, he got to do two bar mitzvahs, which meant two parties :) For one we got to dress in robes and danced around holding trays of sweets. The other was a party in the backyard under a tent. Aunty Rivka thought it looked like a circus, but I thought it was great, and since it poured that night it was very useful! I got a chance to see people I haven't seen in a long time, as well as bond with my cousins, which we could probably use a little more of. I also got to meet some new people. It was nice. I was staying at Aunty Rivka's house, so I got see more of her and have some fun late night silly chats. Her doggies are sooo cute, and the cat Pumpkin too. We went to a spa for two nights, that was such a treat. The first night everyone was there, and the second it was just me, Mum and Dad. We had our own little hut with a jacuzzi, and slippers and robes for everyone :)
One more week of school, which is crazy!!!! I still don't know what to do for the summer. ahh stress...
Running is going good this past weekend I did the Spring Run Off in High Par. My time was 48:33, which is ok, and then on Sunday I ran 16k (which is the farthest I've run so far, and it was a good run!)
This Sunday is our first dragon boating practice, I really hope it doesn't snow!!!!

Well,
I haven't written in a while and I don't quite fell like doing my homework, so i'll write. Well I already did what is due for tomorrow.
This past weekend sucked! I worked both days, well saturday was fun at work...I worked with Joanne and Tom it was like old times...we had a countdown!!!
On friday I had sushi it was good, then went to see Volver with my parents. But it was soo cold in the theatre so i fell asleep....but it looked like a good movie...well I saw half of it.
I had a good run on sunday, it was a little tough because of the time change. I'm really liking the running club! I have to register for the Mississagua marthon tonight.
I'm going to Isreal in a week and a half! I'm looking forward for the hotness...it better be warm! Although I'm not so sure how to get all my running in.
School and placement are both good, but busy. Although I don't have placement this week because it's march break.

When is it going to be summer??

I'm kinda tired of this winter weather! I want the warm sun, actully i'd like to go away for a week of fun in the sun! It think last year at this time I was getting ready for Hawaii.....how I wish I could go back....Jill lets forget school and go...We can get heulwen to convince one of the pilots to fly us all there!!! I think it's a good plan!!!
Hm what else do I have to report....I've started the running clinc and have been a couple of times with them. On sunday's we run at 8:30, i'm not used to running at that time. This past weekend I think my body woke up just as we were finishing...great eh? It seems like a good group, and it gets you out there running. Not this past weekend but the one before, I went to the farm which was nice and relaxing. This past weekend I went to symposium for intervenors, it was amazing. I learnt a lot and listened to some great speakers. I was surprised to see how many people we knew, most we from places that we visited during intro to the field.
I had a midterm today, I wasn't so happy with it. oh well...it will nice to relax a bit tonight. Oh I did get to re-take part of my unit 4 test for Comm 1 and I think I did much better :)
So i'll end with that positive note!

Yes it's winter cold season...i'm not feeling so hot. Actully quite cold. I think I got sick since it's so cold in my room! Hmm let's think of some positive news....I joined a running clinc and i'll start running with them on tuesday. I went to a fun superbowl party! Hmm let's see if I know how to put in a pic...I think that worked...i hope so. Well superbowl was fun! I went to my friend liz's house (she's from school) Lisa, Maria and Monica were there too as well as a ton of her family. It was a good time!
Monday at school wasn't so hot, and we had a test, whew that tough!

I don't really know what to say....but I thought I would make a post since it's been a while and that was one of my resoultions to psot more.
Let's see...i've been running!!! and it's great! I was having a really crappy day the other day, I went for a run and put me in such a better mood.
School wise...I guess i've been keeping up with my homework, which I probably should be doing, now....but I don't feel like it. And i'm going out soon.
Hmmm there has to be something exciting going on....I have placement this semister and it's going great!
ok sorry this isn't the most exciting blog yet...
i'll find something exciting to report!

Happy New Year Everyone!
First I will list my new year resolutions....
1.To not try and do too many things!!
2.Run a half marthon, this inculdes doing the training over the winter (or whatever you want to call the weather now)
3.To keep in touch better. If I say I will e-mail ,call, or even post a blog, i'm really going to try do it. Espically people like Alison who are so far....
4.To eat healthy, which is kinda part of the running...
5.To do well in school(do things ahead of time), and get this Austraila trip organized!
So that's what I plan to do this year!
The Hoildays were crazy busy, I'm kinda glad they are over. I'm really glad exams are over, they were really busy. I'm happy with my marks from first semister.
For New years I went out east :) Moncton for new years with Jill and then to halifax to visit heuwlen and kathy and alison and their other roomates. It was a good trip!
Now i'm back at school.
I got some new running gear and I tested it out today and had a great run! and tomorrow I start placement! I hope it's good (i'm sure it will be!)

Ok The Life of a Student is Crazy/Busy!

I am so bad at updating! It's a sunday morning, i'm having some coffee, and thought I would actully do an update.

First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY HEULWEN!!!! ok so i'm copying Jill and it's a little late. I hope you had a good day and weekend, birthday's are always fun when on a friday or saturday night! I had a drink for you, well it was a shot and it took me three tries. Yes I'm patheic, we'll have to pratice over New Year's! I hope you and Jill are still coming!

Second, school is great! It's very busy though! The work and learning signing never seem to stop! I'm liking so it's worth all the work. I have a project that i'm really excited about, it's writing a purposal and fundraising so people from class can go to the international deafblind conference in Austrailia next year.

Thrid, over reading week, which was a couple of weeks ago. I had horrible painful toothache. It resulted in a 3 step root canal. I'm almost back to normal :) It was really annoying that this happened over reading week, but I guess it was better that I didn't have to go to school in pain and I could stay home doped up on pain killers. On the plus side I had two really good runs before my tooth started hurting that week. And just before that Myles and I decdied that it wasn't the right time to be "seeing each other". I have no time for a relationship and they are way too stressful. So we are just staying friends :) We were supposed to do this crazy run together, but i was in too much pain with my tooth :( oh well we'll just have to a marathon or half next year. My running goal is to do a half marathon next year, not really caring about the time. But improving my 10k time and then the following year i'll look into improving my half marathon time.

Fourth, my grandma has moved to Toronto! I went last weekend to bring her here! It was a nice short visit to Winnipeg. I'm going to miss going there to visit, but it's nice to have her here! It was may dad's birthday this week. Mum and I threw him a mini surprise party with his buds at new fav lounge. And then for his birthday we went out for a nice dinner.

Fifth, I'm still working at second cup. I like working, and i've worked out a good schedule with Joanne, so i'm not super stressed. I think i'm stress regardless...hehe. Plus I'm still on the hunt for an apartment, and if I keep working i'll have money for it. I really want to move to Broadview and Danforth.

HMMM any more numbers or anything else I can update on....oh I went to see a really weired not a feel good movie, but interesting with alan last night. It was Running with Sissors. Strangly I enjoyed it, i'm not too sure how to express my thoughts about it, it was sad but good and interesting. It was nice to see Alan too, we haven't seen each other in a while. Oh i'm going to his sister Karla's party today which should be nice. Now I think i'll go for a run, I hope I don't freeze it's looks cold out!

The Life of a Student!!!

Well, now that i'm back in school. I'm even worse at writing blogs. I am very much enjoying school. I'm sort of getting the hang of the new languages, but I have to admit I got pretty frustrated today! There are some nice people in the program, which is good. There hasn't been any theatre to 9's or wine and cheeses yet :( Well the Jewish New Year has past. I actully managed to fast as well! We didn't get to go to synagouge as much as we usually do, dad hasn't been feeling well. I've been working nights at second cup. But it is sad to say, my time there has come to an end. Well at the end of October. I'm going to miss Tom and Joanne, and some others, but I just couldn't handle everything. I want to enjoy school. Although I really would like to move out of my parents, it's been nice, but I need my own space again. I hope to move into Kira's building. Hmm I wonder if I could see it tomorrow? Running wise, I got a new pair of runners :) they are nice!!! and on Oct 14th i'm going to do the Zoo run. It should be interesting running by all the animals. I hope to get under an hour, but we'll see about that. I did the run for the cure last weekend, it was such a great day! Dragon boating is over for the season, we did ok at Ontario Place. Last weekend we had a nice end of the year party!! I gave everyone silly awards, the cake was amazing! It was a chocolate dragon. And I've started seeing a guy, he's great! he might be reading this...sorry no juicy info! hehe We went out for really Yummy sushi dinner the other night. And I tried some pretty cool sushi, like with black rice, grapes and I really liked the tuna, but I think I can only handle it in a roll.
Well I'm not too sure when I'll post again...

Things are weirdish, but good!

Well the summer in now over :(
School started today for me. It was an intersting day. I'm having mixed feeling as if it's a good idea. I'm sure it will be!
Camping was really good, it rained. But it was fun! and at least it rained on rafting day and not hiking day. Rafting was definatly fun! although I really had to pee.
We saw three moose.
Then I worked alot. But now i'm done with second cup for the day shift. It's now eveings and weekends. I'm going to miss Tom and Joanne and all our custmers.
I had a great labour day weekend :) I spent most of it with a new boy :) I know him from work, he's a custmer, i think it's funny how we met. we'll see how things work out.
Dragon boating races are this weekend! I hope we do well. We have a new coach, which i guess is good so we can get more input.
I had a great run tonight. But last friday i had an even better altheic day. I rollerblade from fallingbrook to the white brige on the otherside of the city. It took three and a half hours.

Well i'm pretty bad at posting...oh well, here goes for what I can remember.
Jill and Heulwen came to visit me here, it was such a good weekend. We walked alot, ate some good food, had some nice drinks on patios, shopped, went to the beach, went swimming. It was all good!!! Jill's blog is much more detailed if you want to know more. My grandma was here for the past month, trying out different places to live. I think she might have foudn one, it will be nice to have her here in toronto. Barbie and Ken came for the end of her visit. So lots of family stuff and then work seems pretty g crazy. I'm really looking forward to the middle of augest when i go camping with air and nai and scott(maybe andrew too). Hmm well that's all I can remember....

What a great weekend!!!

I spent most of the weekend on the Toronto island for dragon boating races :) It was so much fun! Hard work, but fun. Our team ended up getting two bronze medals! This is my year of getting medals! I went out with the team on sunday night after the races, they are a good group of people. And we are going to Miami....stella!!! On saturday night I went out for ice cream with Zoya, she is leaving for Russia/austrailia :( I'm going to miss her! We had yummy ice cream crepe's. On sunday for the races Air and Heulwen showed up and cheered me on :) It was nice to see air, but espcially to see Heulwen. She was in town for the night. She came up with a brillant idea! For the next time she was in Toronto, she would give Jill a buddy pass. So the three of us could have a super fun weekend together!!!
My grandma is here for the month! Tonight we played scrabble, and I won!! I got a 7 letter work "reasons"
Tomorrow is the last day of Alpha and graduation!

I think i'll try and update more...I like writing a blog, but it's annoying to try and think back to remember the past month. Hmmm let's see....
Dragonboating, is going good! I've been to a couple of pratices, and i'm going tonight. As long as it doesn't rain! We have races this weekend. They are on the island, it should be lots of fun! We had a race a 2 weekends ago, i think we did pretty well. I enjoyed it! I haven't been running as much since the sporting life race, but i would really like to get back into running. I went for a good run yesterday and it was so nice and refreshing!
My volunteering at Alpha is coming to an end, I had fun this year at the school. A couple weeks ago was the school camping trip and i went on that. It was really good and there were no tornado's this year!
I've started my applciation process for George Brown. I'm going to be doing the Intervenor program, where you learn to work with deaf-blind people. I hope it's good. So that's what I have planned for the next two years of my life :) I am still doing signing classes, they good. We have a test this week....yikes!
Father's day was nice, spent the weekend at the farm. My grandma is coming to toronto soon for a month to try out some residences, to see if she might move here. And my cousin Paul is moving to Toronto, I had a nice evening with him last night. We went out for sushi. And he got me to try some of the crazy stuff, it was pretty good!
I still don't have an apartment :( but i'm looking!

What a crazy month!!! I'm glad it's over!! Last time I wrote I believe Alan and I had just broken up. Well I fought back for him, but lost that battle, so it's true we are over :( and offically moved out of our apartment. He has his new place, which I hear is quite nice. And I am still here at mum and dad's, but looking for a new place. Let's see I had a great weekend at air's cottage just before my birthday, we played games, ate some yummy food...mmmm....fondue! It was nice a relaxing. We played frisbee golf in the light rain, and yes mine went down cliff, it was fun getting it, and of course it was mine that went down. Anyways it was a good weekend, thanks air and nai! I came back to the city for dinner, a movie, and fireworks with alan. That was an interesting night. I was sad that he wouldn't take me back, we had a long talk about it between dinner and the movie, but i felt good that I gave it one last try. we saw over the hedge, it was really funny! If we were still together it would have been the most amazing night ever! oh well...Nothing too exciting happened that week, but on may 27th I went to moncton to surpirse Jill for her birthday! Her boyfirend Andrew arranged it that I would come down as her present and spend the weekend there! It was such a fun weekend!!! I got there we went to the market, hung around for the day, went for dinner with her parents,made some fancy drinks and then went dancing at Vodoo. I think Jill had a pretty good day, and she didn't know that I was coming. That was such a hard secret to keep! The next day was really nice and we hung out in the sun and had a bbq! The next day was shopping! And then finsihed the trip off with pump house!MMMM So I had a great weekend, but then had to come home to packing :( I really don't like moving, it was pretty sad. All I could think about the great times that Alan and I had shared in the place. And then on the moving day the mover didn't work out well, but was really nice cos my uncle came over and helped me! I'm glad it over! This weekend was dinner and movie's, one night with mum and aunty Barbara. We went for sushi, and then to see Friends with Money. The next night I went to Green Mango and then to see Thank you for smoking with air and nai! Both good movie's and good dinner's and good company! This morning at the store it was freezing!!!!!!! but i'm my body temp is back to normal!
I have a couple of dragonboating races this month. UNfortunaly I can never seem to make the pratices, which kinda sucks! But i guess we'll see how they go.

Well I just want to get this out here....Alan and I broke up, it wasn't ulgy or anything....just kinda/really sad. I guess we weren't made for each other. We shared some really good times, and I hope we can continue to be friends. This weekend should be fun, i'm going to air's cottage! I hope to get back into running...I haven't been very good since the race. If it would only stop raining!Oh I haven't updated about the race! It was so much fun! I ran it faster then I thought I would 1:07:12. Joanne and I had a great time, and we've got plans up our selves for some more. Signing classes are still really good! we went to Mayfest, which is huge gathering for deaf people. It was a good expirence. I also had a nice mothers' day weekend at the farm. And it was great cos mum and I didn't fight at all!

It's been a weird month!

Well let's see where do i begin.... Hmm passover went well this year, I didn't get sick of the food! I actuly enjoyed matzah this year. Maybe it was the smoke salmon that I got to go with it. Then Alan and I went his parents house for Easter. That was lovley! One of the nights when we were there we went to Ottawa and saw the Canadian Improve Games finale. It was funny, not quite what I expected but it was good! we also met up with Alan's friend Andrew. It was so nice, Alan's mum made me a special lemon pie with a passover cookie crust, it was soo good! And I guess now is the real reason I haven't posted. Alan and I, i guess are having some issues. Well Basically we need sometime apart to see how we really feel about each other. He told me that he wanted us to move out speartly. It took a couple of weeks for me to diggest this, since I love living with him and don't quite feel the same way, but if this is what he needs I guess this is what we should do....I don't wanna loose him! so tommorrow i'm moving back home. We are still staying together, and hopefully in Septmeber we can move back in together. I might look for my own place this summmer...Hopefully with a patio or a blacony!
So in other news, I've started sign language classes. I had the first one on friday, it was fun! And my big race is next weekend! Tomorrow Joanne and I are going for a pratice run! The weather seems like it's going to be really nice this week :)
I'll update next week with my race time...i'm thinking and hour and fifteen minutes or twenty...we'll see...

Sunday was a good day!

Yeah I had a good day yesterday, usually sundays are borning and not so great. I guess my friday and saturday were boring and not so great, so sunday made up for it! It was a really nice day out! I slept, then watched a movie, had some coffee and yummy eggs and bacon(fake). Then later on in the afternoon I went for a run with Alan. It was really good to try running outside. It was a little harder to get started, but once I got started I didn't really want to stop....I now see how forest gump ran accross the country....ok so I probably couldn't have ran like he did....I"m getting really excited for the 10km, it's in about a month! Then I went to mum and dad's for dinner, Don and Bev were visitng. It was nice dinner, and good! I was soo mad on Thursday! Alan and I got kicked out of hair I really wanted to go, but canstage messed up ticketing and we got kicked out of our seats. So we went to second city instead. I've had a headache since Thursday, it's kinda annoying that it won't go away! I helped with show this week, on monday I hung lights, and then on friday and saturday I ran the lights for the show. It went pretty well, espically since i hadn't seen the show. But I guess it was kinda nice to be back in the theatre. Hmmm I think that's all I have to report. Jill always write really good blogs and puts in her insights....I just kinda describe things...well my insights will come....hehe

It's been a while!

I guess i've been busy since I got back from Hawaii, or too lazy to write. Well first thing....today is so nice out! I was volunteering at Alpha this morning. It was fun, we did math. It's funny because they use the same math books that I used in gr. 4-6. I started a really good book while i was in Hawaii, The ladies #1 detective agency. I can't seem to put it down and now i've ordered the rest of the series, so i have lots of reading to do! It's a really good book, I suggest it for anyone who is looking for something light to read. I haven't been running as much as i would like to....oh yah that's because I dyed my hair and I didn't want the dye to drip down my face...and because i've been lazy. I am going to go this afternoon though, and I think i'll swim as well. So yes I dyed my hair egyptian plum. I really like it, it makes it's a little darker with a purple hint to it. On the weekend I went out with friends on friday night to the green room. And then on saturday I went to the farm with dad for a night. It was a surprise for mum, she really wanted me to come, and orignally i didn't want to go but i had a change of heat last moment. It was definatly a good weekend to go up. It was maple in the county, so went for a wagon ride into the sugar bush and for pancake breakfast, oh and we also had some really good maple corn bread. This week I was helping a friend hang some lights for a show that I don't know the title for. It's kinda nice to be back in the theatre. We are getting some new drinks at work....but they are getting rid of some of the good old ones :( I can't think of anything eles too exciting, other then the fact that I still don't know what to do for the rest of my life.

Hawaii was fun, but now I'm home :(

The trip is over and it was fun! Highlight was surfing! The weather was pretty good, well it was hot, but there was cloudy sky's and rain for about a week in the middle. We climbed diamond head crater. We went whale watching, saw lots of whales! Swimming at least once a day! WE had some good food! Grandma made some nice meals and two chocolate cakes! I also learnt her chocolate cake secret. I saw the Pink Panther, it was really funny! And The Matador, it was ok. We went to this place called Tanaka, they cook your whole meal in front of you, it's cool! The plane rides were kinda long, but we had good seats. We drove up the coast, in a convertible! Unfortunately it was one of the rainy days, but we had the top down for a while. While in the North Shore, we went to the Dole Plantation. While there rode the dole train, learnt about pineapples, did the worlds largest maze, and had a dole whip!
It was a really nice trip! I'm glad Alan came with, he did really well with putting up with so much family! I hope he enjoyed it, well he said he did so he probably did! He is the one that said we should go surfing. We took lessons and got up, but then we went out on our own, wasn't so successful! we got surfer wounds.
Well I was back at work today,I gotta decide soon what I should do this summer......And I have to start running again!
I'm sure there are more things to say about the trip, but I can't think now.

One week :)

Oh yeah one week till fun in the sun......i'm so not going to want to come back from Hawaii. Anyways, I've had a pretty boring weekend since i've been opening fri-mon, which means I have to go to bed by 9ish. Or else i'm super tired, oh wait I still get tired. I have had some good runs this week. I ran my longest which was 40 min. I think I could have gone on, but I didn't want to push too hard. I went out for mexican on friday night with Alan. Then we went to see improve Lord of the Things. It was funny, espically since he went on stage for one of the scenes. Hmm what's else do I have to share...I made Valentine cookies with air today, they turned out pretty good, and it was fun making them. I made a really good curry last night :) and I made lots so I got leftovers for dinner tonight. Oh it's exciting that the olympic's have started!!! I would really like to be in the them, I used to want to do ariels, then cross country skiing, but now I want to be a figure skater. I think it's too late for my olympic hopes, I guess i'll just enjoy watching them.

18 days!!!!

Well it's February now, which means I can count down says till Hawaii. Hence my title. Well I had a nice day off today, I went to Alpha. That was good! Had a ncie walk home, did a bunch of need to do laundry. While watching the rest of the movie that I feel asleep to last night. It was In her Shoes, I really liked it! It was a good girly movie, even Alan thought so. Then I went running tonight. It was my longest run, 30 min!!! Now all I have to double that for may 7th. It's the sporting life 10km run, which Joanne and I are going to DO! On Monday I found a good new Indian restaurant, that Sandra recommended to me. It was funny I actually saw her there. I went for dinner with Air. On the weekend I saw match point (the woody Allan movie) I really liked it, it wasn't typical, I didn't know what was going to happen in the end. After to movie Alan and I went to Sandra's good bye party. She cooked us a nice meal :) Had some drinks with her :) She is off to Argentina for 6 months. Lucky ducky! Then on Sunday, it was my cousin Celia's birthday. I went to wish her a good one, and had some yummy cake.
I'm off to play cards! Hi auntie Rivka!

The new me :)

Today I am feeling good and heathy! I plan to go to the gym everyday till Hawaii, which is in 4 weeks tomorrow! I might only do something small, but it's getting fit regardless. Today I was pleased with myself, I ran a mile on the track. I rowed 2 km, and I swam 20 laps. Tonight I am having sushi and playing the bean game with nai, possibliy Air. This is a sort post, I don't know what else is new with me. Oh I got a new book, it's about Paris! Brings back some good memories! It's a girly book, but i'm enjoying it and it's better then reading nothing.

Last week my back was killing me! and this week i've lost my voice. It's really hard to work without a voice. I'm off tomorrow, hopefully by thursday it will be back. But there are only 4 weeks and 5 days till hawaii. I worked this past weekend, so it's wasn't a thrilling weekend. I had a nice dinner with dad on saturday and on friday I went out for dinner with Alan and we rented Mr. and Mrs. Smith. My back is feeling better this week....I guess that's good, if I could only get my voice back. I might go to the farm this weekend not sure....we'll see!

Well this past weekend was great!!! I didn't have to work and I hung out with friends that I didn't get to see over the break. I watched movies, went sledding, a bit of shopping and a lot of sleeping/relaxing. Although all this good stuff seemed to have hurt my back on monday it was kinda sore, and on Tuesday I had to leave work. Luckly I had today off and I went to the doctor, he realigned me. I also got some exercises to do. It was great I got to read a lot today which was nice. And I had lunch with my pops. I did a really stupid thing today and cut my finger while I was cutting something with scissors. Now my thumb and back hurts! Tonight I went out for dinner with Zoya and Annemarie :) And now Alan and I are going to do a Sudko and watch some sex in the city! Have a good weekend everyone!

I haven't posted in a while....I've been busy, like everyone else....I assume....
Anywho, I've had a great couple of weeks! I went to Alan's house for Christmas, and had a great time! It was so nice a relaxing. I got some good pressie's :). We then came back to the city to celebrate chaunkah with my family. Auntie Rivkah has been here with Izzy. It's been nice seeing them. The best though was sledding with them on dec 31. Talking about New years, it was really good. The evening started off with sledding with my aunts and cousins. Then I went to alison's for a mini new year's party. We played Cranium (my team won :) had some yummy potato pizza! Then I went to Second City, to bring in the New year with Alan, at Second city we got party hats and champagne. It was definitely a fun night. Then the next morning, I drove out to the farm for mum's new years party. Then Heulwen came to visit me here :) It was nice to see her! Happy New Year Everyone!!!!

I couldn't really think ok a title for this week, so I just answered my favourite question. Let's see my week in review, Monday and Tuesday were good tv nights! The finale of amazing race, I would love to be on that show. On wednesday I went shopping with Alan, I got some shopping done....We went out for a yummy dinner at Moxie's, and it was perfect because Bellini's were on sale. It's good to have a drink to relax you during the crazy holiday shopping. After shopping and me stressing about if I should get winter boots or not. Alan and I went to see Narnia. It was really good, I suggest people see this movie. On Thursday I saw proof with mum and dad, again I enjoyed this movie. It was a nice and simple movie. We then we to Auntie Barbara's for tea. The snow storm that was supposed to hit the city missed us, so it wasn't that hard getting to work on Friday. And I didn't have to go in early cause Tom and Joanne couldn't get in...On Friday night I ended up getting those winter boots that I wanted on wed. But i'm glad I waited, because I got %40 off :) Now my toes are toasty when I got outside. I also met Air and Monisha for some shopping, then we all met Scott and Andrew for dinner and drinks. After that I went to second city and hung out there and played this crazy spinning top game. I got to sleep in on Saturday :) I didn't really do much during the day, I got some knitting done. I have so much more to do!!! On Saturday night I saw Annmarie, and we caught up :) Then today I went over to Alison's house and we played some good board games, and had a ton of tea!
This should be a good week, Auntie Rivika and Izzy are coming from Israel tomorrow, and I have a wedding to go to on Thursday, and then on Saturday it's off to Alan's for Christmas, and then back home for Chanukah.

My weekend....Meh, it was ok...

Hey everyone, here is my weekly post. I should try and do this more often. I was pretty tired this week, I'm not sure why, but I was. I opened the store on sat and sun this weekend. So my night's weren't too exciting. On Friday night I did stuff with mum, it was great we went to Ikea, didn't buy anything, just returned :). On Saturday after work, I had lunch and played crib with Alan (he won....grrrrr), then I went to hang out with Air (she was stressing). Then at night I went to a friend from works birthday party for a drink. I wasn't going to go, but when I called to say that I wouldn't make it, she sounded so excited to hear from me I couldn't say no. But I'm glad I went, we got to catch up. Today was quite nice,it was so slow at work (grrr) but then after I went over to Auntie Barbara's for brunch. She made some good eggs, mushrooms and asparagus. Then when I got home at 3:30 I took a nap,I didn't get much sleep this weekend. Unfortunately I slept till 10 and now i'm not so tired to go to bed, but I have to work at 8:30, so I really should. That's my week for a wrap, tomorrow night I'm going to Alan's box office holiday party, that should be fun!

What a nice relaxing weekend with the folks at the farm!

This past weekend I spent at the farm with mum and dad. Dad and I drove up Friday night with a good new road trip cd of our favorites! When we got the there mum had dinner ready, ate. I was slighty tired since I opened that morning meaning I was up at 4:30. So when we sat down at 9:30 to watch March of the penguins(which I had already seen twice, such a good movie!) I feel asleep....It was sooo nice to sleep in on Saturday morning without any interruptions! I slept till 12, it was great! Mum and I spent the afternoon going to craft sales and shops. The highlight was going to a christmas tea! We got party sandwiches, sweets, and lots of tea! Who could ask for more? Came home fed the cats and made a super soup. It was pumpkin, carrot and ginger, with some spices, had that with corn bread, salad, cheese and crackers. For desert we had treats from the craft fair and chocolate mint roobois tea. We watched the end of the march of the penguins( I feel asleep again, which I tend to do while watching movies at the farm). I went to bed, my parents continued to watch pointless movies to the wee hours of the morning. Sunday I slept in till 10, we had a nice breakfast, I did some reading, and some knitting. We watched the stupidest movie ever! The Hebrew hammer ( don't bother renting it, I just couldn't believe we found this movie in Picton). Dad and I drove home and I came home to hear Alan's crazy cast party stories! Have a good week!

My First Post, Hello Everyone!

Well this a way for me to update my friends and family on my life. Also just for another way to complain about things or express my viewpoint.
First, I was on the radio today!!! It was about me trying to say that work(second cup) is emphasizing Christmas oppose to any other holiday. But, boy did they choose the wrong person. I haven't heard it yet, but I hear (from my parents that it was good, they might be sligthly bias)
Second, It's sooo silly about the government. I think nothing is going to be resolved, and they are going be in the same position. Although it's good that Olivia chow is giving up her seat and going just going federal.
Third, Anyone wanna move to Australia/ New Zealand/ Fiji?
Fourth, I'd like to snow, I wanna go sledding!
